Hello and welcome to the April edition of Fleettorque, brought to you by Fleetcare.
Easter is here!

The Easter Bilby is on his way! A highlight of the year, Easter is a time to get together with family and friends and enjoy the four-day holiday weekend. The date of Easter Sunday varies from year to year that's because Easter falls on the Sunday after the ecclesiastical Full Moon that falls on or after March 21. So, the Easter holiday can come along between the end of March and the last days of April. With special church services, Easter egg hunts and Sydney's Royal Easter Show, there's plenty to look forward to. And don't forget the hot cross buns!

Congratulations to our Instant Windscreens winner!

Congratulations to Adrian Martorella, who was the winner of our March competition with Instant Windscreens. Adrian's response to our question was both witty and informative, easily securing his place as our winner. Enjoy the tint Adrian!

Fleetcare driver safetyMercedes-Benz has recently developed Attention Assist, a system which uses the car's engine control unit to monitor changes in steering and other driving habits and, if it detects that the driver may be becoming drowsy, sounds a wake-up alert.

What's under Obama's bonnet?

Described by the US Office of Protective Operations as 'the most technologically advanced protection vehicle in the world', the President's two tonne Cadillac, built by General Motors, is thought to have armour plating 20cm thick, 12cm thick bulletproof windows and a sealed interior designed to protect its occupants from chemical attack. It's thought that the car even has its own oxygen supply.
