WARKWORTH RSA BOWLS 1 TEAM

Sherryl, Allen, Wayne and Rob Mcrae  (at the bar) finished a credible 2nd overall in the popular Warkworth Bowls Business House Teams Tournament held over the Summer. Winning 7 out of the 8 matches, they also cleaned out  Nadine's RSA team on the social final night to exact sweet revenge on their defeat  in last year's grudge match.

WELL, YOUR WOOL ACTUALLY !

Carol and her knitting team have run out of wool for knitting the Peggy Squares for the baby blankets or knee rugs for the older people at the North Shore Hospital. If you have any spare wool (off cuts fine) please leave it at the RSA office with Sherryl.

We've made a  good start  to the Business House Comp. with 2 draws and a Win in the top Division. Tomorrow night we're in action at 7.15pm at the Warkworth Tennis and Squash Club so all support welcome.

The Warkworth Tennis and Squash Club  has started a major Clubhouse and Squash Court improvement  and there is an opportunity to be recognised for all time on a "Brick" board on the wall in the seating area of the new glass Squash Court. Three divisions of donations, Gold $1,000  and over, Silver $500 and over and Bronze $250 and over. WEDNESDAY SENIORS SNOOKER

Now up and running again every Wednesday afternoon from 12.30pm.

We are a group of seniors who get together on a Wednesday to play snooker, tell stories ansd generally have a good time. It's not serious if you don't want it to be, the main thing is to have fun, utilise the Club and just maybe win a meat pack. So why don't you come along on Wednesday about midday for a 12.30 start. When enough turn up we draw for partners so even a learner has a chance to win.

We would love to see you and help you learn this fascinating game. The only condition is that you are a financial member of the Club.

Cheers Ray.

LADIES THURSDAY  POOL

Join Kay and the girls every Thursday from 12.40pm for a 'not too serious' afternoon of Pool.

Cheers Robbie
