| I wish l had my wedding filmed |
Over the past 3 years l've been to a number of weddings (to many to count), filmed them, being a bridesmaid in them, and even seen my friends married, where they made me go as a guest. When people ask me what l do for a job, or when they see me holding the video camera at a wedding, they say "l wish l had my wedding filmed, it was 5 years ago, and l can't remember a thing, would be great to watch now and show the kids".
When l was a bridesmaid in my brothers wedding, it just flew by. I've had brides who were married 20minutes earlier, saying "l don't even remember the ceremony, it went so fast"
If your unsure about getting your wedding filmed, or can't afford it, speak to our office about either a payment plan (which l talk about in the article across from this), or look at purchasing one of our smaller packages, 3 hours at $500 to ensure your Ceremony and Photo Sessions are captured. You can even ask your guests to chip in as a wedding present or ask your family to contribute. There are ways around it if money is tight, but trust me, you won't be disappointed when you sit down and watch your wedding day again. |
| Having a plan B |
After the massive storms we had on the weekend, l was glad the couple l was filming Rebecca & Glenn had a plan B, not all my other videographers were as lucky.
Rebecca & Glenn's ceremony was due to be outside, up in New Gisborne opposite a lake, very beautiful setting, but with the storms fast approaching, the Ceremony place decided it was better to prepare the chapel just in case, ie their plan B.
I know the weather was very unusual on Saturday the 6th of March, mini cyclone as they are calling it, but l must say, if you are planning an outdoor ceremony, always look at a plan B option of moving inside. You'll need to consider, how quickly you can get guests inside, how far is it to run or shuffle in your wedding dress and what kind of expensive equipment will be exposed to the weather if it does start raining. Also, you never know what Melbourne weather is going to throw at us, so be prepared either way.
