The nature play movement is growing in the United States and is coming to Perth at 7-9pm, 21 April 2010, Perth Concert Hall. Richard Louv is an internationally aclaimed author and futurist who is focused on nature, family and community. His most recent book 'Last Child in the Woods: Saving our Children From Nature Deficit Disorder' has stimulated an international conversation about the future relationship between children and nature, and has helped to spawn a movement that is about to be launched in WA. Workshop with Carol Byers You are invited to attend a workshop with Carol Byers, Netball Australia's Coach Development and Participation Manager. During this workshop, Carol will provide a short presentation on the development, roll out and implementation of the Netball Australia National Coach Accreditation Scheme structure. This session is targetted at any individual (particularly thoses from State Sport Associations) who are involved in the development, delivery and presentation of coach and/or official training. As you are aware, The Independent Sport Panel released the Crawford Report during 2009, making recommendations for the future of Australian sport. This Report was released after consultation across Australia.
Hon. Terry Waldron, Minister for Sport and Recreation, launched 'Clubs Online' on 24 March 2010. Clubs Online is an initaitve that aims to provide a simple way for clubs to access a range of resources, including a free easy-to-use website.
The Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) is the National Sporting Authority for motor sport in Australia. CAMS is seeking a Sport and Club Development Officer (WA).
