Friday 5 September 2008
Edition 122

A very heritage hello to you all.  With the Heritage Idol Festival in full swing, it is difficult not to be thinking about all the "old things" we have around here.  It has been a fantastic first week of the festival with a great launch and show and tell last Sunday with special guest Denise Scott.

This weekend, the engine orientated amongst us can enjoy the Vintage and Classic Car display on at Apex Park, Saturday from 11am until 12.30 and appraisals expert David Freeman will be in town to conduct an "Antiques Roadshow" style afternoon on Saturday from 1pm - 4pm.  So get out your old treasures and bring them along and have them valued.

If you like a good story, told in a unique way, the Siege Site Uncovered talk at Glenrowan on Friday Night will be very interesting.  Come along and listen to Dig International's Adam Ford tell the story of the Ned Kelly Siege from the archaelogical perspective.

Have a great "old" weekend and enjoy the many sights and sounds around the region.
