We are collecting playgroup stories for our promotional materials - including our brochures, website and publications as well as media opportunities detailing your playgroup experiences.

Congratulations go to the St. Patrick's Catholic Playgroup in Geraldton for its recent $5000 Lotterywest grant.

"We are very excited to have received this grant," said the playgroup's president Theresa Voigt.

"As we have extended our playgroup to another session, we were desperate for some further toys and storage equipment. Also, our mums have been very busy having babies, so we needed age-appropriate equipment for our infants!"

Some of the recently purchased items at the playgroup - made possible through the grant - include a large mat; Baby 'gym' set-up; a dress-up trolley and a large portable storage trolley for our outdoor equipment.

"We would like to send a big thank you to Lotterywest for awarding us the grant. Our children (and mums) are loving the new things!," said Theresa.

If your child turns four or five by 30 June 2010, you can now apply to enrol in a kindergarten or pre-primary program at your local public school.

Our kindergarten and pre-primary programs encourage your child’s love of learning, focusing on literacy, numeracy, physical, social and emotional development.

Full of Beanz parties are designed to keep your children actively entertained by playing a variety of games and activities using unique equipment such as hoppy balls, parachute, noodles and water games are just some to mention.
