Adding to the territory-wide reach of the Hook in2 Hockey program, Alice Springs will also conduct a program.
QLD Hook in2 Hockey has proved very popular in Queensland with ten programs, either already conducted or well underway, and another in Gladstone still to come. So far, over 300 participants have been involved in the Hook in2 Hockey program in Queensland. Hockey Queensland Community Officer Annette West-Bail has used meetings of Queensland's member associations to promote Hook in2 Hockey and as such many have been keen to embrace the program. Hockey Queensland is now looking to introduce Hook in2 Hockey as the state-wide introductory program to hockey for all member clubs and associations as of 2006. This will add another dimension to Hook in2 Hockey and will see thousands of participants enjoy the program as their first taste of hockey.
